Dalat is located in the southern part of Vietnam’s Central Highlands. We arrived yesterday and happily welcomed the drop in both temperature and humidity (I got a chance to walk around in my jeans again – yay!)
The landscape changed dramatically from Mui Ne, our last stop, and it feels as if we’re in a different country. Conifers line the streets. The fruits and vegetables available at the market are completely different – we bought an avocado today, something I didn’t expect to eat in Vietnam.
Though there isn’t a ton of things to do in the city itself, it’s an awesome place to take a step back, relax and read a book without sweating through your clothes.
