No big deal – it’s just totally my birthday today.
I woke this morning feeling a bit overwhelmed by the splendor of life. I guess that’s what birthdays are for, really. A day of reflection. A day to celebrate the passing of a year. And what a year!
It’s a day to be spent with friends and family, who are (other than the ol’ ball and chain) many thousand miles away. I’d like to give you all hugs today, but you’ll have to take a rain check. Consider it a hug stockpile that we’ll hug through when I finish this trip.
Life is such a varied, strange, wonderful gift – and I’m just getting started
