Martin has been tied down in Leh with two translation jobs, as he discussed here, so I’ve had to fill my time with some activities outside our room. I thought about volunteering, but most of the organizations around Leh ask for a longer commitment than 3 days. I thought about doing yoga, but never got around to it. What I ended up doing was sitting in the internet cafe in town and dumping a bunch of backlogged photos from this trip.
Generally speaking, most of the internet connections we’ve found have been fast enough to upload a few photos for the posts we’re writing, but not nearly fast enough to handle the 1,500 or so photos we’ve taken since I was last caught up.
