This is officially our 500^th post.

Crazy!

To you readers out there – thank you, thank you, thank you for following us. Our dedicated readership warms my heart.

Let’s see – we’ve been on the road for 7 months & 29 days. That translates to 245 days, which means we’ve posted at least twice a day, on average. I’m impressed with us, if I do say so myself.

Pride aside, I have to admit that I didn’t expect 500 posts from us for the entire trip. Our original intention for this thing was to ensure our parents that we hadn’t fallen off the end of the earth. Once we worked it into our routine, it became fun and a great excuse to try out our hand at writing. The confidence it’s helped build for us as writers is the true pay-off (since to-date we’ve made a whopping $1.22 from this site – sad, just sad).

I probably sound like a nerd for saying all that. But it’s true. We love being bloggers and will continue doing it well past our return date.
