Once upon a time I was an accountant. I wouldn’t say I was particularly good with numbers (all accountants know that’s what calculators are for) but I have to admit that I liked messing around with spreadsheets.
Fine, I’m a nerd.
But that’s neither here, nor there. As a throw-back to my accounting days, I put together a spreadsheet that details the cost of our Jomsom area and Annapurna Sanctuary trek. The costs listed are for two people on a self-guided trek (which, by the way, is the way to go on a trek in that area – guides really aren’t necessary). The total time trekking was 12 days.
