While the bipedal members of the seatsofourpants.com team have been frolicking around in the snowy north, Bacon has been busy planning the next phase of our travels. Using his savings (and our credit cards), he has been one mean, lean travel booking machine.
The way Bacon has figured it out so far is that we head to Stockholm by the end of the month. We’ll spend a weekend plus a few days there, reconnecting with old friends and checking out what spring has to offer around those parts. After that, Bacon feels that we need to visit the British islands: six days in the UK will be the next stop on our itinerary.
After that, we fly to Diyarbakir in Turkish Kurdistan. This is where Bacon’s plans get a bit fuzzy: he knows that he wants to show us Göbleki Tepe: a hilltop sanctuary that is possibly the world’s oldest holy place. Then it is all up in the air. Perhaps our readers have an idea on what to do in that part of the world? If so, let us know.
